Which style is right depends on your design detail, the surface you're applying to, and whether patches need to be removable.
The classic. Thread-stitched on a twill background with a clean Merrowed or laser-cut edge. Best for bold logos, text, and traditional emblems. Premium, tactile, and the most recognizable patch style.
Threads are woven together at a finer gauge than embroidery can achieve. Ideal for intricate designs, small text, and detailed artwork that embroidery would bulk up or lose detail on. Smoother and flatter than embroidery.
3D rubber patches — the tactical/outdoor favorite. Water- and weatherproof, flexible, and bold. Great for jackets, backpacks, tactical gear, and brands wanting a modern, dimensional look.
They give you the leather look without the cost or variability of real leather, and they’re especially favored for custom logo patches on caps.
